All in all, definitely worth the money to see movie in great setting and we will be back. Even tho we were among first to seats, waitstaff seem to just serve in order from furthermost aisle seats. We got to seats about 15min before previews started but no wait staff to take order until well into previews. We were not just grazing on popcorn, but rather ordered several menu items and beer, yet service was just okay. They don't even bring out the popcorn until well into the movie and it's a small bag, so at one point, it was easier and certainly faster for me to go out myself to get a refill. It wasn't even that full during the movie, but the service was EXTREMELY slow. There are servers assigned to the premium seats who will come take your order and check on you during the film. So, the only critique I have is the level of service. Unlimited popcorn is included with the premium seats (but see following regarding this). Unlike the chain movie theaters, there doesn't seem to be matinee prices, or difference between adult/child or 3D vs. But these seats costs almost double the regular seats in IPIC. There's 2 options for seats - there is the regular seats (don't recline, but clearly nicer than regular movie theater - has a moveable mini table to put you food/drinks) and the premium seats (fully reclines, pillow, blanket, bigger oval shaped table between 2 seats). Yes, you can see the same movie at Regal or AMC for less than half the price, but IPIC gives you the ability to watch the movie in style. Make no mistake, you will be PAYING a premium for this movie experience but like anything else, you get what you pay for. With streaming, and DVDs, there's probably less incentive to go out to an actual movie theater these days, so if I'm gonna make the effort, like to make it an experience. I do not hesitate to recommend iPIC to anyone who wants to enjoy a movie in a pampered atmosphere. It is clean, plush, and the staff are exceptionally friendly and responsive. In summary, this theater is a real treat. The second movie, there were three adults and we spent about $100 including tip. The first movie we went to we had five people and we spent about $150 including admission. Be careful, a tumbler of cola will cost you $5.00 and a food selection will cost between $15-17 on average, so plan accordingly or you will get a big surprise if you have a family. Suggestions: Buy the membership if you want to come back because the ticket costs drop significantly. The waiter will check with you for refills and return your card with your final bill. Others with us chose the nachos and the sweet potato chips. I liked the fried chicken and french toast sticks. The menu is diverse but somewhat limited to finger-food, which is excellent by the way. Before you order, a waiter will give you your free bag of popcorn (premium seats) The food is delivered in about 15 minutes to your seat and you can enjoy your food throughout the movie. The waiter will take your beverage and food orders (and your credit card). These are the luxury seats that recline back and they provide a small head pillow and a fleece throw. When you enter the theater look for your reserved lounge seats, if you bought the premium package. The surroundings are 'plush' compared to most theaters. There are six theaters and they are clearly numbered. You book your reservations on-line and take the printout and check in at the main desk as you enter the theater complex. You typically should eat before you go or plan to eat in the restaurant there. This was my first experience with iPIC and it will not be my last. Over the holidays our family went to two movies, The Big Short and Star Wars at the iPIC theater in Redmond.
